Google Ads (paid search)
Capture demand the moment someone searches for you, without burning the budget.
We build the campaigns around the searches your buyers actually type, block the words that waste money, and report the cost per enquiry in plain numbers. Your account and your budget stay yours.
Is this you?
This is for you if...
- People already search for what you sell, but you are not at the top of the results.
- You tried Google Ads before and the clicks were expensive and empty.
- You want enquiries from people who are already looking.
- Your spend is going to broad words that bring the wrong visitors.
- You want to know which searches turned into real enquiries, and what each one cost.
- You would rather start small, prove it works, then scale the budget.
What you get
What you get, and why it matters.
-
Your account set up, or cleaned up
The account is in your name, with conversion tracking recording a real enquiry.
-
Keyword research that starts from real searches
We build the list from the words your buyers actually type, grouped by intent so each ad answers the search behind it.
-
A negative keyword list that saves money
Blocking the searches that never convert is the fastest win in paid search, and it is where most wasted spend hides.
-
Campaign and ad group structure that makes sense
Clear structure lets the budget flow to what works, and keeps every ad relevant to the search that triggered it.
-
Ad copy written to match the search
The ad answers the search in the words the searcher used, so the click is more likely to become an enquiry.
-
An easy-to-understand report every month
What was spent, which searches brought enquiries, the cost per enquiry, and the bid changes behind it. No jargon and no vanity metrics.
What is not included
What is not included, and what to do instead.
Every project has edges. We name ours up front, so there are no surprises later.
-
Ad spend
The media budget is paid from your own account, separate from our fee, so you always see exactly where it goes.
-
A guaranteed cost per lead, or a fixed number of leads
The auction and your market set the price. We commit to the structure, the keyword list, the tracking and the honest report.
-
Building a new website or landing page
If the ads need a better page to land on, we quote that separately, or point you to the website design service.
-
Search engine optimisation work
SEO is a separate service. Search ads buy the position; SEO earns it over time. Many clients run both, and the audit explains when each is worth the money.
How it works
Four steps, and you approve the price before step three.
-
Step 1 · 30 minutes
Free audit
We look at your offer, your website and the searches worth buying, and tell you honestly whether paid search is the right first move.
Your part: Tell us what you sell, and roughly what you can spend a month.
-
Step 2 · Same week
Plan and fixed price
A written plan: the keyword themes, the negative list, the structure, the fee, and the budget we recommend. It also lists what is not included.
Your part: Read it, and agree the monthly budget.
-
Step 3 · First two weeks
Set up and switch on
We build the account, the conversion tracking and the first campaigns, then launch on a small budget.
Your part: Give us access to your website and ad account, and confirm what counts as an enquiry.
-
Step 4 · Every month
Watch, adjust and report
We read the search terms daily, add negatives, move budget to what converts, and send a plain report.
Your part: Read the report, and tell us which enquiries turned into business.
Our commitment
Three commitments that come with every campaign.
Whichever campaign you run, these are written into the scope and they do not move.
- A written scope and a fixed monthly fee before anything goes live, including the negative keyword list and what we will not do.
- Your Google Ads account and its data stay in your name. If we part ways, the account and its history stay with you.
- A monthly report that is easy to read, with the spend, the conversions and the cost per enquiry, dated, and a straight answer when a keyword is wasting money.
Pricing
How the price of running your Google Ads is built.
The fee pays for the management. The ad budget is separate, and both are things you control. Four things decide the fee.
- How many campaigns, products or locations need to run at once.
- How competitive the searches you want to win are.
- How much tracking and conversion setup is needed first.
- Whether we also build the landing page the ads point at.
You get a fixed monthly fee after the audit, and it does not change without your agreement. If your budget is too small to gather useful data, we will tell you before you spend it.
Your options
Three ways to run search ads.
There is more than one honest answer here. This is where we fit.
| Comparison point | Setting it up yourself | A large agency | SparkEvo |
|---|---|---|---|
| Where the budget goes | Into whichever keywords you guessed | Spread across a team and its overheads | Into your own account, led by the searches that convert |
| Who watches it | You, when you remember | An account team, across other clients | The specialists you briefed, daily |
| What you learn | Clicks and impressions | A dashboard of metrics | Which search brought an enquiry, and what it cost |
| What stops the waste | Nothing. Broad words keep spending | A monthly review | A negative keyword list built from your own search terms |
| What it costs | Your time, plus clicks that miss | A retainer plus the media budget | One fixed fee, plus a budget you set |
Straight answers
The things people ask before they start.
-
How much should I spend on Google Ads?
Enough to gather useful data for your market, based on what an enquiry is worth to you. The audit works that out with you. A budget too small to gather data only wastes money slowly.
-
It is too expensive.
Two numbers matter: the fee and the budget. The fee is fixed and in writing, and the budget is yours and visible in your own account. If the maths does not work for your margins, we will say so.
-
My last agency burned the budget.
It is common, and it usually comes down to broad keywords and no negative list. You get the account, the tracking and the search-term data in your name, so you can see where every cent of the budget went. If it is not working, we pause it and tell you why.
-
Can you guarantee the number one position?
No. The auction and your competitors set the price and the position, not us. What we guarantee is the setup, the keyword list, the tracking and the honest report.
-
We are too small for this.
Small budgets are normal here. A tight campaign behind a clear, searched-for service can work on a modest spend, and the audit will tell you honestly whether yours is enough.
Questions
More questions we get asked.
What are Google Ads, in plain words?
The text ads that appear above the search results when someone types a phrase you have chosen to bid on. You pay when the ad is clicked, and you set how much you are willing to pay.
What is the difference between Google Ads and SEO?
SEO earns a ranking slowly and for free, once it works. Google Ads buys the position immediately and stops the moment you switch it off. Ads bring enquiries now; SEO compounds in the background.
Who owns the account and the data?
You do. The account, the conversion tracking and everything it has learned stay in your name. If we stop working together, the account and its history stay with you.
Is the ad budget included in your fee?
No, and it never should be. The budget is separate and paid from your own account, so you see exactly where it goes. Our fee is for managing the work.
How long until the ads bring enquiries?
Search ads can bring enquiries in the first days, because you appear in front of people who are already looking. The setup takes about two weeks, and the numbers take a few weeks of data to settle.
How do you stop wasted spend?
Mostly with the negative keyword list. We review the actual search terms people typed and block the ones that will never convert, which is where the biggest savings usually are.
Does my website need to be finished first?
A clear page for the ads to land on matters more than a large website. If the page is the problem, the audit will say so, and we can quote a fix separately.
What happens if it is not working?
You hear it from us first, with the numbers behind it. We pause what is wasting money, explain the change, and if the honest answer is to stop, we will tell you that too.
