Email marketing
Emails people open, and a list you actually own.
We set up the signup, write and design the emails, and send them on a schedule that earns replies instead of unsubscribes. The list and the sending account stay in your name.
Is this you?
This is for you if...
- You sell something people buy more than once, and you never email them again.
- Your list sits in a spreadsheet, or in an account you do not control.
- You send the odd email with no plan, and it goes to everyone at once.
- You want repeat enquiries from people who already know you, without paying for every click.
- Your signup form exists, but almost nobody uses it.
- You want to know how many people opened, what they clicked, and which email brought in work.
What you get
What you get, and why it matters.
-
A signup that grows a list you own
The list is registered in your name and lives in your account. A clear reason to join, in the right place on the page, turns readers into subscribers.
-
A welcome sequence that starts quietly
A short set of emails sent automatically in the first days confirms the signup and answers the questions people ask before they buy.
-
Emails written and designed in your brand
Subject lines, copy and layout that match the rest of your site, so the email looks like it comes from the same business as the website.
-
A calendar, so it stays regular
A send pattern agreed with you means the list hears from you on a rhythm, not in bursts when there is time. We write and schedule it.
-
Segmentation, so not everyone gets everything
People who bought, people who enquired and people who only read get different emails. Sending the right message to the right group is where the replies come from.
-
A plain report on what it did
Who opened, what they clicked, what a new subscriber cost and which email brought an enquiry. No jargon and no vanity numbers.
What is not included
What is not included, and what to do instead.
Every project has edges. We name ours up front, so there are no surprises later.
-
Renting or buying an email list
We do not send to people who never asked to hear from you. It does not work, and it damages the sending reputation that you own.
-
A guaranteed open rate, or a set number of sales
The list, the offer and the market decide the numbers. We commit to the signup, the writing, the sending setup and the honest report.
-
Managing a newsletter for a list you do not own
The account and the list stay in your name. We work inside them, and everything stays with you.
-
Designing the website the signup sits on
If the page the signup sits on is the problem, we quote that separately, or point you to the website design service.
How it works
Four steps, and you approve the price before step three.
-
Step 1 · 30 minutes
Free audit
We look at your offer, what you already have in a list, and whether email is the right next move for your business.
Your part: Tell us what you sell, and whether people buy it more than once.
-
Step 2 · Same week
Plan and fixed price
A written plan: the signup, the welcome sequence, the send calendar and the fee. It also lists what is not included.
Your part: Read it, and agree the rhythm of the sends.
-
Step 3 · First two weeks
Set up and first sends
We set up the signup, the sending account and the first emails, then send to your existing contacts to warm it up.
Your part: Give us access to your website and your email account, and confirm what an enquiry is worth.
-
Step 4 · Every month
Send, watch and report
We write and schedule each send, watch the opens and clicks, test the subject lines, and send a plain report.
Your part: Read the report, and tell us which emails turned into business.
Our commitment
Three commitments that come with every list.
Whichever sends you run, these are written into the scope and they do not move.
- A written scope and a fixed monthly fee before the first send, including the calendar and what we will not do.
- Your list, your sending account and your data stay in your name. If we part ways, they stay with you.
- A monthly report that is easy to read, with the opens, the clicks and the enquiries, dated, and a straight answer when an email did not work.
Pricing
How the price of running your email is built.
The fee pays for the writing, the setup and the sending. Four things decide it.
- How often you want to send, and how many emails are in the welcome sequence.
- How much design and copy each email needs.
- How the list is segmented, and how much setup that takes.
- Whether we also build the signup and the page it sits on.
You get a fixed monthly fee after the audit, and it does not change without your agreement. If your list is too small to measure anything yet, we will tell you before you start paying to grow it.
Your options
Three ways to run email.
There is more than one honest answer here. This is where we fit.
| Comparison point | Doing it yourself | A large agency | SparkEvo |
|---|---|---|---|
| Who owns the list | An account you set up and may not control | The agency, until you ask for it | You, from the first day |
| What gets sent | Whatever there is time for, to everyone | A template, filled in each month | A planned calendar, segmented by who the reader is |
| How it looks | A template that looks like a template | Designed, but often generic | Written and designed to match your own site |
| What you learn | How many were sent | An opens dashboard | Which email brought an enquiry, and what a subscriber cost |
| What it costs | Your time, and a wrong send now and then | A retainer plus the sending platform | One fixed fee, plus the platform you own |
Straight answers
The things people ask before they start.
-
Is email even worth it now?
More than most channels, for repeat business. The list is yours, it does not stop when an ad budget stops, and it reaches people who already know you. If you sell something once and never again, it is the wrong fit, and we will say so.
-
I do not have a big list.
Almost nobody starts with one. The first job is the signup, so the list grows on its own. A small, engaged list usually beats a large, cold one.
-
Will I be spamming people?
No. We only send to people who asked to hear from you, we make unsubscribing easy, and we keep the records the rules require. That is not just good manners, it is what keeps your emails landing in the inbox.
-
Who writes the emails?
We do, in your voice, and you approve the first few before we settle into a rhythm. After that you see the plan before each send.
Questions
More questions we get asked.
What is email marketing, in plain words?
Sending email to people who chose to hear from you, so they come back instead of being forgotten. It covers the signup that collects the addresses, the emails you send, and the reports on who opened and clicked.
How is this different from social media management?
Social reaches people who may not know you, on a platform someone else owns. Email reaches people who already know you, in a space you own. They work well together, and the audit says which to start with.
Who owns the list and the account?
You do. The list, the sending account and everything it has learned stay in your name. If we stop working together, they stay with you, and you keep sending.
How often should I send?
Often enough to stay familiar, rarely enough to stay welcome. For most small businesses that is between every two weeks and once a month, and the audit works out the right rhythm for yours.
What is a welcome sequence?
A short set of emails sent automatically to every new subscriber over the first days. It confirms the signup, answers the common questions and points to what to do next, without you sending anything by hand.
Do I need a big budget for the sending platform?
No. The sending platform is separate from our fee, and most start free or close to it, growing only as the list grows. It stays in your name, so you always know what it costs.
How long until email brings enquiries?
The welcome sequence can bring replies in the first weeks. The list itself grows over months, and email tends to earn more the longer it runs, because the list keeps working while you do something else.
What happens if it is not working?
You hear it from us first, with the numbers behind it. We test the subject lines and the offer, explain the changes, and if the honest answer is that email is the wrong channel for you, we will tell you that too.
